CQA 54: “. .  . we alone make life the way we find life. . . there is no such thing in the universe known as chance. . . And so when man becomes bound to the belief that he is the limit of his own mind, then man must live in the limit that he alone has created for himself. . . So what is man’s greatest responsibility? To awaken within his consciousness; to free himself from the bondage of prejudice . . . Our greatest responsibility to life is to permit our self, by control of our own vehicle called our own mind, to accept the possibility and divine right of all expression throughout the universes. . . And whoever sees the good within, experiences the good or God without and is freed from the bondage of his own ignorance and therefore, truly fulfilling his responsibilities to life. . . our physical body is an effect of what is taking place in our mental body. . . all judgments are effects of denials. All justifications are servants of those denials. . . We are as good, as happy, as wealthy, as healthy as we will permit ourselves to be through our own effort to awaken. . . Without tolerance, there is no success. . . the weight of responsibility to a wise man never exceeds his love of God. For a wise man knows that the weight of responsibility is the judgment of his own mind. . . our life is ever the way we make it and, of course, it’s always the way we take it.”

CQA 55: “. . . whatever we expose our self to has [an] effect upon us. . . the only way to experience that which is greater than the thought of man is to go beyond the thought of man. So we cannot go beyond our own thought until we first make that step to go beyond our belief. . . the joy of life is in the effort, never in the reward. . . There is nothing more destructive to the human mind than the pity of self. . . A wise man does not dictate that what he desires shall be filled in keeping with the judgments of his mind. . . A wise person does not concern themselves with the fruits of action . . . God helps those who help themselves by helping others. . . we can only grant to another what we first grant unto our self. . . that which we hold destroys us; that which we free unfolds us. . . for ignorance is no escape from law. Law is impartial. Law has no feeling. Law has no emotion. Law has no personality. Law is blind to the fickleness of creation. . . Our soul came to Earth in keeping with its own evolutionary path. . . we can do something about everything in our life. . . Like attracts like and becomes the Law of Attachment. . . we can only be limited by identifying with limit or form. . . when we are identified with limit, we’re only half there and, therefore, we are not fulfilled. . . You cannot see objectively, impartially, when you look at a person that there’s any degree of attachment with . . . There is no thing that we cannot do something about. Because it’s our mind. It’s our thought. It is our judgment. . . Our consciousness is our ship of destiny. . . Without emotion is the light of reason. . . that which disturbs us is that which controls us. . . he or she grows or goes. . . acceptance is the divine will. The Divine Will, God, is the Principle of Goodness. . . man experiences through his own acceptances . . . that which sustains the thoughts of the minds of men is far superior than that thought that it sustains.”

CQA 56: “. . . the blissfulness of ignorance is very short-term . . . belief is limited to and dependent upon a mental world and the minds of men. . . The longer we choose to make no effort to awaken, the longer we believe in the so-called bliss or absence of personal responsibility in our life does not keep us free from it. . . we find that our world is subject to and is dependent upon what we accept and what we reject. . . We find in life that which we deny or reject we are destined to experience. . . our adversities are guaranteed to become our attachments. . . we cannot grant to another what we do not first grant unto our self. . . if we insist on denying our right to abundant good, then we do not have that to grant to others. . . There is the potential of good in all things. . . The only thing that puts the light out for us is what we know as our own thought, our own judgments. . . It does not benefit man to have a perfect physical body at the expense of losing peace of mind. . . It is our belief that is our bondage. It is our own belief that is the obstruction to the goodness that we are. . . life is what you choose to make it. . . When we permit our self to believe that our God, our goodness, our happiness, our joy is what someone else does, what someone else doesn’t do, then we have opened the doors to slavery and become one of the willing workers.”

CQA 57: “. . . growing up is known in the Living Light Philosophy as personal responsibility . . . Destiny is at our command when we grow up mentally and emotionally and accept what is justly and divinely ours. If we find difficulties in life, they are only effects of our attitude, but we have the ability to change our attitude. And through a change of our attitude we change the Law of Vibration and through that change, we attract unto us, in keeping with the law that like attracts like and becomes the Law of Attachment, we attract unto us the things that we truly want: the goodness of life. . . that which disturbs us is that which controls us. . . divine justice is not dependent upon fickle, mental experiences. . . in a mental world we believe that we must take certain steps in order to attain what we desire. . . only in truth, the eternal moment, is there freedom. . . In harmony, there is health. . . a house divided is a house of discord. . . failure is a great success; it is a success of the forms we alone have created.”
