CQA 49: “For it is through the over-identification with oneself that we find our problems in life. . . The reason that we react to the experiences we encounter is simply from a lack of effort to control our own mind. . . prejudice is to prejudge any experience that we encounter. . . Now to presume, which is to prejudge based upon past experience, is indeed a most detrimental expression for the human mind. . . to presume, to prejudge, is to reveal to our self that we are prejudging each and every opportunity that’s coming our way. . . to presume is based upon what we have already personally experienced. And to assume something is the lazy way of the human mind not to even bother to go through the process of presuming. . . Man shall never find anything more blinding or deafening than desire. . . a temptation, that which tempts us, reveals to us where our weaknesses are. . . Now the laws of creation clearly reveal to us that which is created is subject to the Law of Duality. . . man relies upon what he has already experienced for a false security. . . we must move from belief to faith. . . Nature reveals itself: that which sustains a thing is greater than the thing which it sustains. . form exists in the realm of consciousness known as belief. . . As you believeth, you becometh. . . So man is limited when he believes. Man is free when he moves in faith. . . But what man refuses to accept is that his denials are effects of his own beliefs.”

CQA 50: “. . . whatever we forgive or give forth, of course, no longer entertains our mind. It is no longer considered by us. . . it is truly divine to forget. . . suppression of desire is one of the most detrimental experiences that a human being can encounter. . . do not suppress desire; fulfill it or educate it. . . the greatest gift that man can give to God, in order to be free, is the gift of self. . . repetition is the law through which change is made possible. . . That which serves us best is that which we serve selflessly. . . the nature of the human mind is to control everything that comes into its sphere of action. . . it takes 72 hours for the consciousness to move through all of the various levels of the human mind. . . Health, in this philosophy, is the effect of harmony, the Law of Harmony, where all things flow united, serving the purpose of their design. . . When a person—and life has already taught us that—is not willing to bend like the willow, then the person must experience the breaking of the branch, for the storms and winds of creation are ever with us. . . Decisions, as I stated, accept within their very formation the possibility of change. Judgments do not accept the possibility of change.”

CQA 51: “. . . like attracts like and becomes the Law of Attachment. . . force is an effect of fear. . . fear is the effect of a judgment. And so, judgment is the effect of past experiences. . . we can only have control over what we first accept . . . weight problems are directly related to emotional starvation. . . to suppress a desire is to guarantee frustration someday. . . You educate the desire or you fulfill the desire. The one thing you never do with desire is suppress it. . . Discord is the opposite of harmony. Harmony is health and discord is disease. . . For nothing is ever lost. . . Let us rise to love because the Light is ever above us. . . And by wanting something from man, we deny its avenue of flowing from God, that is within us. . . if we live for believing how much a person likes or dislikes us, then we must accept the demonstrable truth: the reason we live that way is because we want something out of those people. . . It’s not important whether or not someone likes you or loves you. What is important is that you like yourself. . . when something no longer serves the purpose for which it has been designed, reason reveals that you remove it from your universe. . . you can’t have harmony when there is emotion, which is the defense mechanism of any judgment that you make at any time.”

CQA 52: “. . . joy is the effect of the expression of gratitude. . . the opportunity of experiencing joy is ever available to us. . . the ability and the willingness to make changes in our life is ever dependent upon the degree of control that we have of our own mind. . . belief is a device of the human mind to keep us from making intelligent effort that we may finally accept that we are not the thought that passes through our mind, that we are in truth the Power that moves the thought, that we are not the judgment that binds us to discord and disharmony. But we are the power used by mental substance to create that bondage, that victimization, and that slavery. . . Misery not only loves company, without company it does not exist. . . When our goodness and our God is dependent upon what our mind and physical body can do at any given moment, then our God is demonstrably the false gods, the golden calves that someday in our consciousness are destined to crumble.”
