For he who is a victim to what has been, certainly, is not demonstrating the principle of freedom. . . when a person looks to the future and experiences fear, he is serving that which has been. . . repetition is the law through which change is made possible.”

CQA 30: "One sees things one way and someone else sees the same thing some other way. So it only reveals to us that we see in keeping with the censorship of our mind, in keeping to what we judge or judge not and, of course, in keeping with our own limits and our own degrees of intolerance. . . God is good. . . Why we do not experience more good in our life is because we won’t permit more good to enter. . . we are the obstruction: our mind, in its error. . . when we think of self, our mind, our fear, becomes the captain of our ship and the master of our destiny. . . we do not evolve until we let go of what has been in consciousness and accept the possibility of something that we desire to be. . . We can only see what we alone, in a mental world, create. . . we are not the thought. . . energy follows attention. . . when you think a thought, you are opening up the door to all that has been in form, all experience associated with it; and all of those laws, they go out and they return unto you. . . a wise man, gaining control over his mind, speaks his word forth into the universe knowing that it shall not come back to him void, but accomplish that which he sends it to do. Our word returns to us void because the energy necessary to bring it back fulfilled is dissipated . . .

If we still believe that we are subject to and, therefore, the victim of any force or any power that is beyond our own conscious control, then we will constantly be the victim of circumstances, not the captain of the ship and not the master of our destiny. . . the only good we’re ever going to find is the good we consciously choose in our own consciousness. . . there is no thing in all of the universes that is not spiritual. For it is the intelligent, neutral Divine Energy that sustains all things. . . When man accepts the possibility of the worst, then he is prepared to experience the best. . . when you have no fear, life, then, is beautiful. . . Hell is sustained by what man calls fear. . . We can enter the mental world, hell, fear, only when we think in our consciousness and, by thinking, identify with separation, which is the thought of I.

CQA 32: "Nature teaches us the demonstrable Law of Balance. . . We have come to Earth to understand and to demonstrate the Infinite Intelligence that is, has always been, shall always be. . . That which we serve serves us. . . man cannot experience good or God without being the living demonstration in that moment of personal responsibility. . . For when we begin to blame God for our struggle, we also blame God for what crumb of goodness we experience. Let’s stop blaming God for the good that we may stop blaming God for the opposite. Let us accept personal responsibility and know beyond a shadow of any doubt that God or goodness is everywhere present and never absent or away . . . Let us accept God’s will, the right of the power which sustains us, to sustain all life, to sustain all choice in keeping, of course, with personal responsibility. . . We are formless, free Spirit. . . it is unfortunate that we over-identify with the vehicle, the body . . . Change is difficult for man only because man is over-identified with the automobile that he’s driving . . . Wisdom lives in the soul faculty of patience."
