CL 69: Harmony, the Law of Health: ". . . to work upon the effects is not to free us from the cause . . . peace is the only power that sustains all form . . . man is deluded by the belief that he is the experience . . . For man, and man alone, is the creator of all of his experiences . . . man and man alone can change those experiences . . . a form is more than just a form. It has intelligent movement. It has want, need, and desire . . . discord is the birth of disease . . . the physical body is a direct effect of the mental form created by the minds of men . . . O man, know thyself . . . it is an opening of our minds, that our heart, the vehicle of our soul, may fully express . . . the obstruction is the human mind . . . like attracts like and becomes the Law of Attachment . . . So if we want a change outside, then we must first make the effort to do the changing inside . . . the cause of all things in within . . . let’s add to the list of our acceptances our right, our divine eternal right to the wealth, the health, and the happiness that is, in truth, the goodness that God has given to us."

CL 70: Life's Purpose: “. . . whenever we direct thought, we create form . . . We have entered earth with untold centuries of evolution and experience . . . When we, through our own identity, identify with a thought and believe that we are that thought with which we have identified, then we become that thought, that form . . . time and space is an illusion created by our own mind . . . as long as we insist upon holding on to thoughts and attitudes of yesteryear that are no longer serving a beneficial and useful purpose in our life, then we cannot broaden our acceptance and horizons . . . The moment that we accept, we no longer become or are the obstruction in our own path . . . We have earned or merited the experiences that are before us, here, on this the earth realm . . . We must go beyond positive thought. We must go to the source, that which sustains not only positive, but negative thought . . . irritation wakes the soul and satisfaction lets it sleep . . . acceptance is the will God . . . man is the cause and the cure of all of his experiences . . . God is not a doer and God is not a giver. God is a sustaining intelligent Energy . . . we must first make the effort to do the changing inside.”

CL 71: The Joy of Teaching: ". . . all of life is teaching us something . . . For we are all teachers and we are all students . . . the laws of evolution are greater than the thoughts of men . . . For there is no experience that man can encounter in life that does not contain a lesson that he and he alone has personally earned . . . Let us view objectively, with the light of reason the things that we desire within our lives to change . . . whenever the mind permits the illusion, the dictate that anything is outside of the power that lies within us, then we are the victim of so-called circumstances . . . everything that is taking place in your life is an effect of the attitudes of mind, the levels of consciousness that you are choosing . . . a house divided cannot stand . . . Let us take stock of our thought . . . we get out of anything what we alone are putting into it . . . the law is impartial . . . So the more we worry about anything, the more we demand to control it . . . When we stop insisting upon controlling things, we will stop worrying about things . . . For you cannot be a good teacher unless you are, at the same time, a good student . . . a good student never stops asking."

CL 72: The Source: "An accident implies something that just happens without known cause or responsibility. This philosophy teaches and demonstrates that there are no accidents in the universe. . . reason will cast light upon the shadows of the mind . . . we always get what we really want . . . whatever in life you judge you shall not do, you establish the laws necessary in consciousness that you shall have to do . . . So that’s the way it is with our thoughts. Don’t hold to them so tenaciously. They build walls and obstructions between you and the goodness and supply of life . . . if we make that effort this moment each day, then we will rise from the levels of consciousness called duality”

CL 73: New Experiences and New Attitudes: ". . . accept, consciously, that we are responsible for all of the experiences that we have, we start on the conscious effort to reach the cause of all things in our life . . . For our judgments in life do not see clearly . . . For our experiences each and every day or revealing to us constantly what we are doing with our life . . . the will of God is total acceptance . . . And it is the unfulfillment of our desires that cause us to entertain so much judgment . . . Let us view desire in the light of reason . . . It is the judgment of the fulfillment of desire that limits man and causes man so much lack in life, so much struggle, and so much discord, which is the true cause of all disease . . . To educate a desire is to cast the light of reason upon it . . . We quit because we judge there’s too much effort and it is too much of a struggle . . . For we can only grant to another what we are granting to ourselves and so few of us have learned to encourage our self . . . truth needs no defense . . . if you change this moment for the better, you will never again be concerned about your tomorrows."

CL 74: The Continuity of Change: ". . . change is an inevitable law that nothing in form escapes . . . the thoughts that we form in our mind, we should not attempt to hold to them . . . Something cannot come out of nothing . . . For whatever you accept in life, you free from controlling your life . . . the intelligent Energy sustains whatever you choose to think . . . It is totally, wholly, and completely impartial . . . Life shall ever be however you take it, for life is always the way we make it . . . How does man find what he is seeking inside? By first accepting the demonstrable Law of Personal Responsibility . . . The moment that we judge how we will gain anything, we establish a mental law, and all mental laws are dual laws . . . there is no loss and there is no gain to divine neutrality . . . It all depends upon our willingness to accept the possibility of something greater regardless what our judgments have dictated in the past . . . if you let your judgments go, the gates of heaven and all of the goodness that is waiting for you will open . . . each time you bow a judgment you open a door to the goodness of life.”

CL 75: Our Changing Attachments: ". . . each and every moment we are in a process of change . . . It is our thoughts in life that make things right or wrong . . . the human mind is an instrument designed to attach to whatever it accepts. And the human mind is an instrument that uses what is known as fear to protect what it thinks it has . . . A wise man makes his decisions and accepts everything necessary to attain it . . . To understand anything is to place you, your consciousness, in a position to work harmoniously through it . . . what you view outside of your life is only an effect of your attitude towards it . . . We become the victims of circumstances through an error of ignorance . . . Your parents were chosen in keeping with the law that you alone set into motion . . . like attracts like and becomes the Law of Attachment . . . There is never a moment when the human mind is not expecting something . . . If we cannot become the living demonstration of goodness in our personal life, we certainly are in no position to dictate or try to counsel another how to bring the good into their lives . . . the demonstration in our life is the revelation that we alone are doing."

CL 76: Attaining Universal Consciousness: "We know we are not the mind, that the mind is a vehicle or instrument that our true being, known to us as the eternal soul, uses to express on this planet . . . We are not the experiences of the mind . . . All things we see and hear are censored by the limited experiences that we have already accepted in our lives . . . It is our mind that fears, not our soul . . . So our lives this moment are the revelation and demonstration of what we have been placing our attention upon . . . in order to change anything in our life, we must first become aware of it . . . We must give up the thoughts and the attitudes that tell us life is so bad . . . there is no power, there is no force outside of our own personal universe that can bring us anything good or so-called bad . . . We help our self by helping another . . . God, the Divine Infinite Intelligence, works through man, not directly to man . . . Our responsibilities in life, we must never allow to exceed our love of God . . . no matter what level of consciousness you experience, you are never alone . . . No one denies us but our self.”
