CL 29: Respect - The Law of Consideration: “If respect is an expression or demonstration of the Law of Consideration, does man in truth respect all things that he considers? . . . We find that is not necessarily true. For there is another part of that faculty of respect and consideration and it is known as value. We find . . . whatever we have a value for, we have a desire to attain. And the degree and the extent of that value and desire prompts us to a greater consideration. And as we demonstrate that Law of Consideration, we express some degree of respect.”

CL 33: Man's Spiritual Search: “The obvious reason why we are not able, seemingly so, to stay with any particular study or endeavor is because of our unwillingness to surrender. Until we reach a state of consciousness within our being where we are willing, ready and able to surrender what we consider is our knowledge, what we consider is right, until we reach that state of consciousness and we are willing to surrender to a Divine Wisdom, to a Divine Intelligence, we are not going to find the things that we are truly seeking.”

CL 34: Mediums and their Message: “The purpose of mediumship is to reveal . . . the cause of the experiences that you are experiencing, to help you to see that there is a better way to live in life, that there is a purpose to the moment in which your soul is expressing . . . The spiritual world, my friends, is the spirit within your own being here and now . . . there is no death, my friends. There’s only a change, a change of form . . . We teach in this understanding that all experiences are the direct effect of a level of consciousness or an attitude of mind of each and every individual . . . whatever you are seeking is indeed also seeking you . . . But be rest assured, my friends, if those who have gone before us to another dimension . . . are able to reach your consciousness to help you to make a change in thought, to bring about a more peaceful, a more fulfilling, a more abundant life here and now, then indeed the purpose of mediumship has been served . . . Our soul is an evolving process. It has expressed through untold centuries and will continue to express through untold centuries.”

CL 35: Leadership and Responsibility: “We look across the land and we see so many things that we desire. But it has been stated many times that desire has no light. And indeed it has no light, for when the mind desires something, it does not at that moment use the faculty of reason . . . What is it within us that has an eternal, lasting value? What is it that will weather every storm and every change, which is the Law of Creation? That something that is above and beyond, and yet expressing through creation, is called by many names. It’s called God. It’s called Infinite Intelligence . . . It is the only thing in life itself that will not fail you, because it is not dependent upon the fickle mind of man . . . For when you’re truly at peace, you will have all of the so-called love, attention, or energy that you could possibly utilize at any given moment . . . Don’t you see, my friends, we sell our soul to the things that we think we need . . . All things are the effect of directed energy through the power of thought . . . And so when man believes in his heart, in the depths of his being, that he has the image that he has created, then man will experience it in this physical world.”

CL 36: Psychometry (Aura Sensing): “Psychometry can be stated simply as soul knowing or aura sensing . . . We are all transmitters and receivers . . . Man, know thyself and ye shall know the truth and it is the truth that will set you free . . . And so it is that we go on the inward journey to know our own mind. To know the things that we have long forgotten. To know the desires of yesterday, for they are the laws, my friends, that are controlling your today . . . We always experience in life what we really want to experience . . . God, peace, freedom, abundance, call it what you will, must mean enough to us to make the daily, conscious, constant effort . . . If you turn your back on the things that are difficult today, you will face them throughout eternity, until you have mastered them . . . So become aware of your thoughts, my friends, your attitudes, and your feelings, for those are the laws that you are setting into motion . . . What is worthwhile and peaceful to entertain in thought? Well, my friends, it’s peace itself. Peace, that great peace which brings balance in our life, that is the power known as God . . . Prophecy is nothing more nor less than the revelation of the laws that you and you alone have set into motion.”
