An audio recording on compact disc of Church Lectures 9 and 10 of the Living Light Philosophy, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin on May 7 and June 4, 1972.
CL 9: The Living Dead: “The dead are not all in the so-called world of spirit . . . our minds are cluttered and entertained with what everyone else is doing because it does not meet, ofttimes, with our petty approval. Does not that type of thought of prejudgment, of knowing what is right for everyone but ourselves, is that not a demonstration indeed of the living dead? Dead to understanding, dead to consideration, dead to reason, dead to logic and even dead, ofttimes, to hope.”
CL 10: Inner Levels and Outer Limits: “As man continues to direct his faith. . .to . . . negative disturbing things then that is what man will ever continue to experience. Our outer limits are narrow by ourselves . . . It is more than helpful to spend a few moments of each hour to think where our thoughts are. Are they limited or are they limitless?”

An audio recording on compact disc of Church Questions and Answers 9 of the Living Light Philosophy, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin on November 2, 1980.
CQA 9: “. . . the true meaning of the word work is love made manifest. . . we all have two consciences. . . judgment is a rigid rule established by our mind that has no possibility of change . . . we cannot grant unto another what we have not first granted unto our self. . . the justice we grant unto our self is the only justice we grant to another. . . ‘Your cup runneth over.’ . . Without thought, for us, it does not exist. . . The moment you entertain the thought of I . . . you deny your inseparable unity of the whole. . . Destiny is only at our command when we go beyond the denials that create it. . . the first step in making a change in a thought is to become aware of the thought that you want to change. . . Fear is absolute faith in the mental world. . . if man wants to consciously move forward in life, he must understand his own mind . . . our mind alone limits us. . . Fear is created by judgment. . . if you truly want to move ahead, you must understand fear . . . and free yourself from judgment. . . The will of God is total acceptance . . . by permitting our mind to make a judgment, we guarantee the repetition of yesteryear’s experiences in that area of our life. . . when you rely upon your mind, you must ever and forever pay the price.”

The Serenity Association, in conjunction with Living Light Books, is pleased to present The Living Light Dialogue Volume 9, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin.
The Living Light Dialogue Volume 9 is 427 pages and contains 83 spiritual awareness classes, which are church lectures given through the mediumship of Mr. Richard P. Goodwin as part of the devotional services of Serenity Spiritualist Church. These lectures cover a broad range of topics and expand the teachings of the Living Light Philosophy. Because these classes were given to the general public (as opposed to classes given to students of the philosophy), many people have found these teachings to be more accessible. For information on the topics discussed in these classes, please see the synopses of the Church Lectures, which is on the Catalog page.
