An audio recording on compact disc of Church Lectures 17 and 18 of the Living Light Philosophy, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin on March 4 and 25, 1973.
CL 17: The Wisdom of Tolerance: “Each time that we express intolerance we give, from our very being, power to the thing that we are not able to tolerate. For that that disturbs us, my good friends, is that which controls us.”
CL 18: The 125th Anniversary of Modern Spiritualism: “We see from the beginnings known as the spirit rappings that a whole new concept of spiritual awakening came to the world. Out of this new era birth was given to many new philosophies—a teaching that we were no longer eternally damned, that we and we alone were responsible for all of our acts and all of our activities, that indeed there was no savior waiting for us, that the salvation that the world had spoken of for so many centuries was inside of us—the only place we will ever find truth.”

An audio recording on compact disc of Church Questions and Answers 17 of the Living Light Philosophy, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin on August 2, 1981.
CQA 17: “The obstructions along our path in life are the things that we have identified with. . . it is indeed human to forgive, but we must remember that it is divine to forget. . . We cannot be freed from anything that we cannot first control. . . First, it must exist in a mental world to be experienced in a physical world. . . self-control, self-discipline, personal responsibility are inseparable. . . if it is discipline, does not deny. It does not deny the right of expression of the desires entertained by our mind. It simply places them under the light of reason and puts them in their proper perspective. . . . God helps those who help themselves by helping others, for God works through man, never directly to man. . . the stone the builder rejects becomes the cornerstone. . . We cannot grant to another what we have not first granted unto our self. . . We do not help people by doing things for them. We help people in the sense that we are the living demonstration to show them the way. . . We are the creators of the thoughts we think, the experiences we have. Our health, our wealth, and our happiness is dependent upon our own efforts to control our own creations. . . our abundant good is dependent upon what we have done with our thoughts.”

The Serenity Association, in conjunction with Living Light Books, is pleased to present The Living Light Dialogue Volume 17, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin.
The Living Light Dialogue Volume 17 is 491 pages and contains 20 spiritual awareness classes, including A/V CP51 through A/V CP 71. These classes complete the series of private classes, known as the A/V Class Private teachings, which were given through the mediumship of Mr. Richard P. Goodwin to a group of students of the Living Light Philosophy at the Serenity Association temple. Because these classes are advanced teachings, it may be helpful to be familiar with some or all of the previously published classes. These teachings have spiritual exercises, as well as affirmations, that are very helpful for anyone who endeavors take control of their mind and unfold spiritually. Common themes throughout this volume include recognizing that all of life's experiences are direct effects of the forms in mental substance that are being fed, how to free ourselves from our over-identification with established mental patterns, and encouraging students to make the daily effort to separate truth from creation. For information on the topics discussed in this volume, please see the class synopses on the Catalog page.

An audio recording on compact disc of the Consciousness Class given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin on November 17, 1977.
A discussion on how we came to be. Time and experience. Out of the void. A great see of Light. The Law of Resistance and creation. In the balance between loss and gain, you experience your true being. Division is the Law of Form. The Law of Solicitation. We are the Light. Why truth needs no defense. How to free yourself from these created illusions. Soul mates and guardian angels. How to become universal in consciousness. Though the changes do not seem to be taking place. The illusion of time. How to become limitless and free. Accept the possibility. When you experience what you really are. Rejuvenation and re-birth. Hold not to form. Accept all experiences and be free. The payment of attainment. You are better regardless of what you think, for you know a better way and are capable of applying it. Be not saddened by the coming and going. “Someday, I, too, shall go from these earthly classes.” Some of you will continue with this school when you pass on. “Our school is like a circle.” Reawaken your enthusiasm. “All forms receive energy in keeping with their receptivity.” “Each time you give power to man, you deny your divinity.” “The dictates of the mind are strong and potent forces of creation, but you need not forever be their victims.” When you experience need.
