CL 14: Man's Only Suffering is his Denial of God: “If God doesn’t choose hell for us, why does a sane man choose it for himself? That’s denying your own divinity.”

CQA 14: “It is when man stills his mind that he becomes the living light in the world of God . . . eternity is the moment of which you are conscious. . . when we judge, we place our self in consciousness to that which has been. . . encouragement being a soul faculty through which the light of reason, the power that transfigures us, flows unobstructed . . . the divine, infallible Law of Duality, the positive and negative, is the very principle of creation. . . Formless and free is an awakening in our heart. . . The Living Light Philosophy teaches very clearly to still the mind. To still the mind is to rise in consciousness—because our consciousness is God—to rise in consciousness above the mind. . . Remember, my friends, we are limited only by our denials . . . judgment is a shadow upon the light of reason. . . the moment we accept that whatever happens to us is caused by us, we, in that moment, once again gain control over our destiny. . . God does not flow freely in our consciousness when we establish the laws of denial . . . Emotions are what we do with our suppressed and expressed desires in life. . . when you accept all your experiences as effects . . . when you really accept that, you will find that you are, in that moment, freed from the magnetic pull, demand, and compulsion to have what you want when you want it . . . to God within us all things are possible.”

The Serenity Association, in conjunction with Living Light Books, is pleased to present The Living Light Dialogue Volume 14, given through the mediumship of Richard P. Goodwin.
The Living Light Dialogue Volume 14 is 492 pages and contains 15 spiritual awareness classes, including A/V CP 1 through A/V CP 15. These classes are the first in a series of private classes, known as the A/V Class Private teachings, which were given through the mediumship of Mr. Richard P. Goodwin to a group of students of the Living Light Philosophy at the Serenity Association temple. Because these classes are advanced teachings, it may be helpful to be familiar with some or all of the previously published classes. These teachings have spiritual exercises, including the cleansing breath, as well as affirmations that are very helpful for anyone who endeavors take control of their mind and unfold spiritually. Common themes throughout this volume include recognizing that all of life's experiences are direct effects of the forms in mental substance that are being fed, how to stop our over-identification with established mental patterns, and encouraging students to make the daily effort to separate truth from creation. For information on the topics discussed in this volume, please see the class synopses on the Catalog page.

Faith, belief, and the Principle of Good. Why we do not experience God or goodness. The step to make. Frustration. When things are not going our way. When we are not treated justly. Becoming weary of experiences. The captain, the first mate, and taking charge of our ship. Satisfaction and fulfillment. What we cannot control we work to destroy. Thought, pattern, judgment, desire. All forms must experience God or goodness and what happens when we do not experience that goodness. The danger of believing we are the mind. The benefits of broadening our horizons. If we truly believe that God is everywhere. We are in whatever we choose to be successful in. A spiritual exercise when things are not going your way. Winter it and summer it. From a lack of honesty we are unaware of how fickle our minds are. Shadows and the light of reason. What we do not value in life. How our minds broaden. What feeling is dependent upon. How to respond to feeling poorly. Telling ourselves how good we feel. Regret. The debt is due and it will be paid. Creation is a price tag. The spoken word. They return from the level on which it was given birth. The purpose of form. How the human mind is awakened. The limit of good. Why we believe we are great. Pride. The soul, the anatomy, and the spirit. Exorcism. The comings and goings of the soul. Being out to lunch is very serious. When the debt comes due.
